Things I've done so far

I keep working on my rebranding project. As I already said I have chose "Saatch gallery" as my client. Yesterday I went to the gallery to take some pictures and collect all the handouts that I could find there. But unfortunately all I've got from there is "Art and music" magazine (which is gallery's house magazine now) and Chelsea's local magazine called "Sloane Square". I didn't find there any announcements or  leaflets, any booklets that could give visitors some information about  upcoming events and exhibitions, except "picture by picture" guide which I find very boring and not interesting. However my visit was very productive. I made a lot of pictures and I think I found answers for some of my "Six thinking men" questions. But there are still a lot of them that I need to think about.

And some pictures that I've found in internet.

After that visit I made a conclusion that  the gallery is perfect. White walls as a blank canvas makes you fully concentrate on the art works. Mixture of contemporary art and old times architecture creates a stunning effect. The most amazing thing is that admission to the gallery is always absolutely free. Saatchi's principle is to bring contemporary art to the widest audience possible. Also you can take as many pictures as you want. As I've mentioned I couldn't find any handouts there which made me a bit disappointed. How should I know what will be on next? Where are my favourite paper handouts? But there is a substitute for a leaflets. It is possible to register a membership. Which is also absolutely free. This how it is possible to be always informed about events and exhibitions.

I am still doing my research and trying do dig deeper because I have so many questions and even a half of them is not answered. The most important question for now is how to make the most effective rebranding of  the gallery without loosing its established and strong image.
