From Where I Stand

It was a really good Sunday! I've spend all day in museums. I made a schedule for this Sunday. And I've completed it all. (well almost...) First thing that I was planing to do is to visit National Portrait Gallery.

Probably everyone knows that Mary McCartney's "From where I stand" exhibition is tacking place there. I really wanted to see it. It very impressed me! So simple but with a very deep sense, her works just seems like they are alive, both colored and black&white. Exhibition organized in support of her first book which can be bought  in gallery's bookshop. Book is actually archive of her works from the very beginning of her career as a photographer.

So who is Mary McCartney? She is Linda and Paul McCartneys elder daughter . She is specializing in portrait and fashion photography. Her career started from photo editors post in music book publisher "Omnibus Book". But later she began doing professional photography and for today she has several successful personal exhibitions.Click this LINK to find more information about Mary McCarntey.
Here are some of her "From where I stand" works

Unfortunately I couldn't make any photos at the museum and those pictures are not the most interesting part from whole exhibition. They're just the ones which I found in internet. But! Maybe you should go THERE to see it. I am sure you'll love it. And it's for free.
I can't imagine the thing that people leaved somehow without photography before. I find photo camera one of the most genius and important inventions of human being.
P.S.Can't wait for LCC Photo Studio workshops!
