And “Blog workshop” helped me to remind it back again. There was a task, just to go outside and shoot on the camera everything that somehow takes our attention. Having done so when I came back home I looked through the photos that I've done. And one picture caught my attention. It was a picture of the hole for cigarette ends in a public trashcan. I took that picture just for fun but in returning to it later I found it very interesting.
First it made me think of cigarettes and how dangerous they are. In our days there so many activities in the world which are making campaigns against smokinglist of it starts with simple brochures ends with large-scale performances and flash mobs. How ever people realise and admit that smoking really kills but they do smoke and me either. My "relationships" with cigarettes has a very long story. I started to smoke because all cool girls in school were smoking, but when I graduate I decided to quit and successfully did. When I turned to 23 I started to work to British American Tobacco and was a designer who worked with Vogue cigarettes. You know how they says: who smoked once and enjoyed it will definitely smoke again. Surrounded by cigarettes day to day I couldn't stand. I'm a bad smoker, not proud of that but I am.
In hopes to justify my self I started to brows internet trying to find something good about cigarettes and smokers and I found a lot of interesting, fascinating pictures which refers to that “I am so proud that I'm a smoker” time.
Not so far ago smoking was not even judged it was welcomed and used for medical purposes. (WOW!)
And here are some of present days pictures.
Key message is strikingly different.
It' amazing how one picture which were tacken accidentally made me to do so deep research and have so much impressions.
P.S.
Look at the world with eyes wide open. I've forgotten how to do that but it's never too late to start again.
