Since 13 Th. of october at the Museum of Everything there is an exhibition of Sir Peter Blake's private collection. The entire exhibition devoted to circus.
It's a shame but I was not impressed by this exhibition at all. More than that I was frightened by abundance of clowns and puppets. Unfortunately all the circus things are not mine. I really don't like clowns and afraid of them.
However I am very glad that I've visited the museum and decided to learn more about Sir Blake's works. And that's were I was absolutely amazed and i think i fell in love. Not with Peter Blake =) with his works. Sir Blake is British pop art pioneer he is the author of "Sgt. Pepper" Beatles album cover. Mostly he works by using collage technic. I find them very multifaceted and meaningful for every spectator and art lover. Because there is no any particular meaning in many of his works you have an opportunity to think out what actually is there. Here are some his works that I liked the most.
Beatles
and Oasis
Three matchboxes.
So simple but so sophisticated. Philip Morris.
Every one could see something related especially for him. The first target

All in all I could definitely say that I really liked the museum it self. Was impressed by design and atmosphere in it. I should definitely go there again. Of course if there will be no more clowns.
